From inside Kokonutz, Wendy could hear her cell begin to ring.

"What perfect timing," she grumbled gloomily. Only a moment after the phone had fallen to the floor below, it had started its irritating jingle. After a dramatized sigh, Wendy hopped over the counter.

A voice outside said something, either very quietly or from a distance. To Wendy, it sounded like a female. Only then noticing a young patrol officer who was standing just outside her store. This person was definately not a girl, as they had a little bit of facial hair growing.

"May I help you find anything sir?" Wendy asked politely, not sure where the words were coming from. At the same time, she stealthily drew a bottle of nail polish from one of her pockets.

((Sorry, I've gotten slow with response times; and this quality won't be that good seeing as how I'm in a rush at the moment.))

VJ patted his pockets, trying to search for that beloved item, his cellphone, it had all his songs on memory, filed away in the thousands and thousands of free kilobytes that he had free on the utensil. Victoriously, he wrapped his palm around what seemed like cold metal, he placed his hand into the pocket, bringing out his silver and red phone. Sure, those colours were on about everything that he wore, but it didn't matter, he thought they looked pretty 'fly'.

"Nope," he said, dangling the phone out in-front of his face, "got mine right here... Not like it's gonna do any good in here," his eyes looked upward, looking around for any sort of bugs or things that could tamper with a signal , "but no bars... Funny, pick it up maybe, then we'll have somethin' to call people with if it continues to ring."

Armani pressed a button to the phone and noticed the service bar was full. She looked at VJ and took his phone from his hand and saw it had no service.
"Hmm...wierd, how come this phone gets service, and yours doesn't?" she asked, handing it back to him.
"You have cheap service,... got ripped off" Armani grinned, listening to his words.

"I guess, but who should we call. Police? The Navy?". Dialing 911, Armani gave a shrug, and placed the phone against her ear, leaning againt a wall, looking towards VJ.
It rang a few times before a voice machine came on, saying there was no service. All the service bars had gone down and there was no connection.

"Crap...can't get through. It's useless" Armani whispered and placed the phone in her left pocket, next to where her useless cellphone was aswell.
"There's probably some emergency phone or radio in this mall where we can make an outside call. Guess we should find it and get some help" she suggested, looking over her shoulder.
"Did you hear that...I just heard a voice" Armani said, listening for it again.

Yeah, it was cheap, but it worked most of the time, this was one of the few times it had failed on him. Perhaps it was time to invest in a better plan, perhaps that's where all his calls about record deals were, they were never being picked up on by his receiver. Okay, that was a bit out of the park, but a possibility nonetheless.

VJ grumbled, slipping the piece of metal into his pocket, "It ain't all that bad," he said with a smug,"'Least I still can play games on here."

Armani stopped him halfway through his thought process with her notion of someone else being around them... or something. It was true though, it was faint, but evident enough to have the small voices echo through the vacant corridors of the mall. He was probably too busy eating before to notice it, chips always did have a reputation for being a loud and obnoxious food choice.

"No that ya mention it," he motioned his ear to the presumed source, "I do hear somethin'. Wanna go check it out?"

Wendy observed the patrol officer with a degree of seriousness. She wasn't entirely sure what he had said about her phone, nor did she care. But Wendy did understand that it was this man's goal to escape the mall.

"You want to leave?" she asked, her voice sounding far more hurt than it she had intended. She added in a soft sinister tone, "You're going to leave me here with all these zombies? I don't think I want to let you leave."

"In fact," she hissed, inching towards Liam, "I don't think that you want to leave." Wendy popped the cap off of her nail polish, getting ready to blind her target with the thick dark substance. Sweetly she concluded, "You should stay, it'll be boring without anyone to talk to."

No longer was Wendy trying to detect the voices of anyone else in 'wonderland'; her attention was focused completely on Liam. By this time, Wendy had gotten quite close to the young man. His response would dictate her next actions. Would he agree to stay, and therefore be safe, or choose to leave and receive an unexpected attack?

Armani laughed a little, shaking her head.
"Games....right. Games always come in handy when you're running and hiding out from zombies" she grinned, looking away for a moment, back towards to where the phone had been lying. The sound came once again and Armani nodded towards VJ.

"Yeah, that would be a smart thing to do, so.....you first" she smirked, gesturing him towards where the noise had come from. Giving a smirk, Armani turned around towards the direction.
"Kidding,...now then, shall we?" she asked, begining to walk, but slowly, so he could catch up.

It was kind of obvious that the voice was infact a humans, unless zombies had found some way to speak English, which she highly doubted. But hey, if testing bees suddenly ended up with raging zombies, what were the possibilities? She slipped a hand in her pocket and sighed, wondering what would happen to them.
